Chris is the founder of Melbourne Football Academy and is well experienced in the football industry with extensive footballing knowledge. After playing the beautiful game, Chris began pursuing his passion for educating young players.

Chris has numerous coaching accreditations both domestically and internationally. Accredited by Football Federation Australia and the Australian Sports Commission, Chris has excellent football methodology practices relevant to football in Australia. Furthermore, Chris has travelled internationally to countries such as Holland, further strengthening his coaching knowledge. Receiving accreditations from world-renowned institution the Johan Cruyff Institute and participating in coaching workshops with the Ajax Online Academy.

With an extensive knowledge of the game, Chris utilises unique training methods and understanding of developing young players. This approach has proven favourable for both players and parents throughout the progression of Melbourne Football Academy. Chris has played a key role in developing young players to transition from training at Melbourne Football Academy to training at clubs in domestic competition including Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne City FC and Western United FC as well as State and the Australian National Team. Chris has also transitioned players into playing football globally in European countries including Spain and England.

Chris devotes himself to teaching young players not only how to master their skills and become better players, but also becoming a positive individual. Chris is always adding new additions to the Melbourne Football Academy program including new high-tech equipment, new tactical methodologies, and high-tech fun innovations to keep students engaged with football.
