Melbourne Football Academy Classes Postponed
Dear Melbourne Football Academy Members and Affiliates
As part of our efforts to ensure the continued wellness of all our members and community at wide, Melbourne Football Academy classes will be in shutdown effective immediately.
The necessary actions taken by the Premier of Victoria, Mr Daniel Andrews, this Sunday March 22 2020, includes new restrictions outlining that non-essential businesses shut down. What this means for us at Melbourne Football Academy is that this last week of Term 1 classes is cancelled, the upcoming March/April Holiday Classes is cancelled and the start date for Term 2 is deferred until such a time it is deemed safe to do so.
Not being able to bring this great educational program to our students is disheartening. However, we can’t underestimate the severity of COVID-19 to us all. We all have a responsibility to each other and the community to work collectively to overcome this crisis. Our actions during this time is of most importance as we try to minimise the spread of the virus.
It is our most sincere hope that we all remain safe and healthy during this pandemic. We encourage everyone to be of help to neighbours and vulnerable groups. This is an unprecedented time for us all, and by supporting each other and following the guidelines and recommendations of the Australian Health Department, we will get through this.
We will continue to provide further updates regarding make-up classes and when we can resume operations for Term 2 as they are available, however please contact us via email at info@melbournefootballacademy.com.au if you have any questions in the meantime.
Thank you all for your understanding.
Your loyalty and continued support through this time is greatly appreciated.
