MFA Terms and Conditions
Term Payment
Term fees are payable in advance - it is a basic condition of attendance at the Academy that fees are payable before or on the first day of each term.An invoice will be made available at the end of each term in respect of the forthcoming term fees unless MFA has received notification that your child's place at the Academy is no longer required.
Students should not attend class if fees are not paid, unless prior agreement with a MFA staff member has been made.
Term fees do not include Holiday classes. Holiday classes are optional and are invoiced separately.
Registration
A once-off membership registration fee of $95 must be paid to book any one of these classes. This fee includes an Nike MFA complete football kit (shirt, shorts, socks) and membership certificate.All registrations can be made via the MFA website or phoning 1300 MFA 000.
Dress Code
Please send your child in MFA kit, appropriate footwear - Trainers or football boots (depending on the surface) and water bottle.Jewellery CANNOT be worn as they may be torn from the body causing physical damage.
Note: During Summer Months, as the temperature rises we kindly ask that all students wear a hat and sunscreen.
Attendance
Please ensure your child is punctual in his/her attendance at all training classes (at least 5 mins prior to the start time). If your child is late he/she may be asked to sit at the side of the session until the trainer/group has finished their current practice.Please ensure a MFA staff member is present at the venue before leaving your child for his/her class.
During Class
Parents/Guardians and siblings are NOT to enter the field of play at ANY time during the class. Please keep to a safe distance away from the training area. Persistent offenders may be asked to leave the site and their child may be asked to leave the Academy without a refund.Personal Behaviour
The student must respect the trainer and other attendees in the class. In the case of bad language, violence, ignorant conduct and be ha vi our that prevents the class from proceeding the trainer reserves the right to remove the student from the class. If the student does not comply the trainer may, in his/her discretion, terminate the student's training class.Collection
Your child must be collected from the playing area. If you wish for your child to be collected by a different person, please inform MFA staff of who that person shall be.If your child is collected more than 15 minutes late on several occasions, he/she may be asked to leave the Academy - No refund shall be given.
Illness
If your child is ill and cannot attend a class, make up classes can be available at any one of the other venues / days - please inform MFA staff if you require help with this matter.Refunds
Refunds shall not be given if a class is cancelled outside of MFA's control - e.g. Extreme weather. Refunds shall not be given to those people who choose to go on holiday during term time.Disclaimer
Melbourne Football Academy or any of its trainers accepts no responsibility for any injury, death, loss or damage to the student's personal belongings during a class.Parents/Guardians understand and are fully aware of the risks associated with their child participating in the activities provided by Melbourne Football Academy and participate at their own risk and shall indemnify Melbourne Football Academy and its staff against all actions, suits, proceedings, demands, costs and expenses which may be taken or made against Melbourne Football Academy.

If you do not want your personal information to be used by MFA for marketing purposes without your consent please advise us accordingly via info@melbournefootballacademy.com.au. To fulfil our obligations to you under these Terms and Conditions we communicate with you by e-mail and by posting notices on the website. You agree to receive communications from us electronically and that electronic communications will satisfy any legal requirement for communications which need to be in writing.Use of Photograph/Video
Melbourne Football Academy occasionally takes photographs and videotape of staff and students during classes and other MFA events.Melbourne Football Academy holds the right to use any images taken of your child for use in publications, promotional material and on its website in order to promote Melbourne Football Academy to the public. Melbourne Football Academy may use and reproduce one or more photographs of your child for this purpose.
You may at any time withdraw permission for photos or video footage taken of your child to be used by Melbourne Football Academy and will inform Melbourne Football Academy in writing.
Payment Information
Due to the age of our members (4 to 15), we only accept payment from a Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign-up with Melbourne Football Academy.Registration to the Academy is paid by Cash, Cheque or Direct Deposit. By registering with Melbourne Football Academy you are consenting to your financial and/or personal information being passed to any third party organisations necessary to process your transaction.
