MFA adopt Ajax system

Melbourne Football Academy is proudly announcing the partnership with the Ajax Online Football Academy. This makes Melbourne Football Academy the first in Australia to forge a partnership with the European giants. This means that coaches at Melbourne Football Academy will be ideally equipped with all the resources necessary (this includes a complete playing tracking system and learning track) to improve players like the world famous AFC Ajax Youth Academy (Johan Cruijff, Marco Van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Frank De Boer, John Heitinga, Patrick Kluivert, Frank Rijkaard, Edwin van der Sar, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart and many more)

 

The goal of AFC Ajax is to form talented young players into top level professional football players and by creating this long term partnership with the Ajax Online Academy, Melbourne Football Academy can develop its own players similarly.

 

The youth teams at de Toekomst are trained in exactly the same way as the first team and this prepares them to play in the Ajax style which is attractive, offensive – minded, creative, fast, fair soccer played as far away from the Ajax goal as possible. Central to this method is the 4-3-3 formation for all age groups and concentrating on the technical excellence of the players.

 

Ajax Amsterdam are known to be one of the best at producing top class players which are usually sought by the best clubs in the world.

 

As one of the world’s most successful football clubs, the club was an obvious choice as a football education partner for Melbourne Football Academy.

 

Ajax was voted to have the best youth academy in Europe in 2010 and has been responsible for producing many Dutch talents over the years.

 

A welcome letter signed by Mr Frank de Boer, the famous ex-player and now Head Coach at the Ajax Youth Academy, was sent to Mr Chris Theodorou, MFA Technical Director. Melbourne Football Academy is sure that this is another leap forward with respect to the quality of coaching it will be able to offer in the future years.
