Daniel Matina selected for U17 Subway Joeys men's PacificAus Sports Football Tour

Congratulations to Melbourne Football Academy's very own Daniel Matina for being selected for the U17 Subway Joeys men's PacificAus Sports Football Tour. 

The football tour provides further preparations ahead of their AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2025 Qualifiers to be contested in Kuwait. 

Daniel spent a significant amount of time in the MFA of Football Excellence program benefiting greatly from the multi-faceted approach of the Dutch program. Working alongside World Kick Boxing Champions to strengthen his mental resilience, receiving guidance from our International Dutch Partners as a part of our exclusive Dutch training camps and utilising SmartGoals as high-tech training equipment to enhance his awareness and football intelligence.

Daniel's excellence in technical ability and dedication to continuing to self-improve saw him flourish in this program, receiving the Student of the Year award in 2017 and 2019. 

It is a delight to watch Daniel continue to progress in his footballing journey, on behalf of everyone at MFA we wish Daniel the upmost success and good luck to the team.
