From Melbourne Football Academy to Melbourne City FC

Melbourne Football Academy is extremely pleased to have 3 students playing for Melbourne City's VPL 1 side in 2025.

Congratulations to Akeem Gerald, Mikael Evagorou-Alao and Peter Antoniou.

These stduents spent a number of years at Melbourne Football Academy training in the MFA of Football Excellence program. 

Within the Excellence program each of these students gained valuable knowledge by spending time training in exclusive camps with MFA's Dutch Partners, working off-field with World Kickboxing Champions to develop their physicality and mental resilience as well as competing nationally at the Sydney International Cup. Their hardwork and dedication to improving themselves was excellent and now they have a fantastic opportunity to excel in their football journey. 

We look forward to watching Akeem, Mikael and Peter on the pitch in 2025, and on behalf of Melbourne Football Academy we wish them the best of success for the season.
