Peter Antoniou to represent Australia in the 2023 AFC U17's Asian Cup Qualifiers

Congratulations to Peter Antoniou for being selected once again to represent the Australian National Team at the 2023 AFC U17's Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The Subway Australia Joeys will be in competing in Shepparton this week as part of the AFC U17 2023 Qualifiers in group G. 

The tournament features 43 teams from across Asia competing to achieve qualification for the AFC U17 Asian Cup trophy next year in 2023. Divided into 10 groups, the winner from each group in addition to the six best runners-up will fill the 16 available spots to qualify for and compete in the AFC U17 Asian Cup in 2023. 

From the AFC Asian Cup in 2023, the top four teams qualify for the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup. 

Australia's group sees the Subway Joeys first play Northern Mariana Islands on Wednesday 5^th of October, followed by Cambodia on Friday 7^th of October and conclude the campaign against China on Sunday 9^th of October.
